Annette Jenkins Photography creates passionate, timeless memories that truly reflect the spirit and fill the heart. She combines technical proficiency, patience, intuition and her unique artistic sensibilities. Annette Jenkins began studying photography over 20 years ago at the International Center of Photography in NYC. She continues to refine her skills and stay on the cutting-edge by regularly attending seminars and studying with many of the industries top photographers. Annette is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographer International and serves as Vice President of the Professional Photographers Association in NJ.

My experience with Annette Jenkins Photography was a great one. Annette was extremely professional. Even when my three year old daughter did not cooperate, Annette was very optimistic. I did not think that many photos would turn out good based on my daughter’s inability to stop or look at the camera. However, the photos really captured and depicted my daughter’s personality. The photo presentation was a slide show set to music. The photo we chose for the wall portrait came out flawless. When I was planning a very important event in my life, my 40th wedding anniversary, I wanted it to be a day that I could reflect upon lovingly in the years to come.
I knew I needed to search for the perfect photographer. A person that truly listened to me and understood the importance of this day, leaving nothing to chance. I wanted a family beach scene with my children and grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. I knew it would be difficult to get my active grandchildren to pose and smile at the right time.
When I met Annette, I knew I had found the perfect photographer. She focused on what I wanted and she truly understood my needs. Annette asked a lot of questions about the group and particularly focused on the 2 and 4 year olds. She told me how she would “prepare” them for the photo shoot by playing games and making them feel comfortable with her. It worked!
The finished product is a very large beautiful beach scene on canvas displayed over my fireplace. It is the focal point of the room. Everyone looks relaxed and natural. She even captured my grandchildren’s personalities. Every time I pass by the art work, I remember that day and I have a big smile on my face.
